This course seeks to bring better understanding of the important document, Bill of Lading, which is used in international transactions. Proper preparation, issuance and use of this document will be discussed to prepare participants for the effective usage of this document.

On completion of the course, participants will be able to:

*Former Participants of SSA’s “Principles of Shipping Documentation and Practices” course or participants with experience in Bill of Lading preparation will find it easier to understand and appreciate this course. Active discussions in legal case studies and hands-on practice on preparing the Bills of Lading will be conducted.
