Marketing Assistant/Executive (Contract)

Overview of Position:

Associate to support an enthusiastic sales team in marketing content, presentation and graphic designer. This ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who understands business and marketing communication and has an interest in and aptitude for design. You will enjoy distilling complex concepts into clear and compelling visual narratives and will value clarity and consistent formatting. You will also have an eye for detail, an eagerness to learn, and the ability to think creatively within the branding guidelines.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and creation of marketing content for presentation, demonstration and display purposes that is aligned with the brand direction

2. Story boarding to create more engaging content based on written or spoken ideas and convert them into images, layouts and other designs

3. Design and create visually compelling PowerPoint/Keynote presentations and print materials

4. Create visual aspects of marketing materials, websites and other media, including infographics in communicating the organizations brand and image across.

5. Edit photos and build charts, infographics and data visualizations as needed

6. Develop templates and create quality materials which will primarily be made using presentations, product sheet, newsletters, social media, etc

7. Develop original artwork or illustrations, event graphics and managing a comprehensive image bank.

8. Consult with the marketing (HQ) and local sales teams

Requirements:

1. Experience working on developing professional content / communication marketing content for a technology company

2. Proficiency in Microsoft office suite, Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign, specially with mockups, web design and multimedia presentation

3. Knowledge in AfterEffects, WordPress and Sharepoint are a plus.

4. A portfolio that displays an understanding of design principles, branding, layout and typography

5. Excel at breaking down complex, technical information then redesigning the delivery of it to communicate the concepts in a consumable, easy-to-understand format

6. Adaptive design eye and skill with good communication skills

7. Ability to communicate information in an interesting way, pulling out the benefits, value, and story behind tactics, case studies and other materials.

8. Strong command in English, both verbal and written (drafting, copy editing, presenting ideas)

9. Positive attitude and able to work in multi-cultural environment

Responsibilities :

Responsibilities:

You will be reporting to the Shipowner Rep. Dept. and assist unit Head in shipping administration, not limiting to data entry. Prepare Billing/CN/DN Authorisation to Finance dept., preparation of Time/Bareboat Charter Agreements, Documentation for Sale and Purchase of Vessels, Vessel Insurance renewal and claims, Vessel costs and budget monitoring and any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Trainees - 12 Months

Main Purpose

• Day to day oversight of the regional bunkering operations and trading support for the GE bunkering team
• Physical oil products operations and trader support.
• Co-ordinates all aspects of the pre & post-deal trading activity to ensure contract execution runs smoothly
• Provide commercial/market information to the trader as necessary

Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities (Operations):

• Vetting vessels for proposed Time or Spot Charter for intended use
• Checking suitability of clients vessels for bunkering operations
• Working on the applicable clearances required for each of the planned operations
• Action sales and build into the schedule of operations
• Regularly update other team members of the planned schedule
• Agency coordination
• Managing diversions from schedules
• Relay and supervise load orders to Ship-owners/Master of our barges.
• Monitor progress of the barges during loading/discharge operations
• Send calling instructions to vessels/barges and update internal systems with latest information
• Manage quality and quantity as per QMBS (SS524) standards
• Proficient in latest MPA bunkering guidelines (SS600/TR48/SS648, etc)
• Monitor and evaluate performance of any TC vessel and 3rd party vessel
• Manage relationship with 3rd party vessel providers
• Setting up and documenting all required procedures required to manage this new business
• Collating information on port calls, competition and other regional operations
• Provides guidance to other operations staff, if required
• Follow strictly internal procedures and company's policies.
• Ensure all required reporting of delivered bunkers operations to MPA on timely basis
• Maintain spreadsheets with operational/sales data summary for easy reference for bunkering team

• To gain a good understanding of technical shipping and maritime terminology, as well as commercial shipping law and the impact on oil cargo operations is critical

Naval Architect

The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Naval Architect to work in our Singapore office.

The successful candidate will have skills and experience in one or more of the following areas:

· The ability to undertake both static and dynamic mooring analyses using Optimoor and/or Orcaflex software packages;
· The ability to undertake hydrostatic and hydrodynamic analyses using HecSalv and SESAM software packages, or similar industry standard software;
· The ability to undertake structural analyses using the SESAM software package, or similar industry standard software;
· Perform lashing and sea-fastening calculations, review seafastening designs of others, and write reports discussing the suitability of proposed sea-fastening arrangements;
· Perform Marine Warranty Survey (MWS) site attendances and issue Certificates of Approval to support our clients with our MWS stream of work;
· Work together with our in house Master Mariners on collisions and groundings and support our marine casualty stream of work, and provide technical assistance to our team.
· Relevant degree in Naval Architecture

This position requires a creative thinking and diligent engineer who is keen to further develop their career in the sector. The work will be office based but will also involve assignments ‘in the field’. The ability to travel and undertake site attendances (once the Covid-19 travel restrictions are lifted) will be looked at favourably.
