Digital Bunkering is a transformative effort aimed at modernising the bunkering processes within the maritime sector. This initiative leverages digital technologies to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and improve safety in the bunkering industry. By transitioning to digital solutions – such as the use of electronic bunker delivery notes (eBDN), requisition forms, and checklists – the initiative seeks to reduce manual processes and promote transparency in fuel transfer operations.
In November 2023, Singapore became the first port in the world to implement the use of eBDN, thus establishing our position as a trusted and efficient global bunkering hub.
