SSA is an appointed partner for the Career Conversion Programme (CCP) for Sea Transport Sector. The CCP supports maritime companies by enabling them to:
- Hire mid-career individuals and reskill the employee through On-the Job Training to take on new roles
- Undertake business transformation by sending the existing workforce for reskilling
- Redesign job roles to ensure a more sustainable business and workforce transformation
With two primary modalities, Training of New Hires and Job Redesign Reskilling, this Workforce Singapore (WSG) programme is applicable to companies with staff who have entered or are playing different roles within the Sea Transport sector.
Up to 90% salary support is available. Details on the modalities of CCP, the types of available funding, job roles covered under the programme, as well as the eligibility criteria may be found below.
Programme
This is a customised, 100% structured On-The-Job training programme offered in two modalities:
- New Hires – for PMET hires who have joined the company for less than 3 months. Up to 6 months of salary support
- Job Redesign and Reskilling – for existing employees whose job is being redesigned or impacted by organizational transformation. Up to 3 months of salary support
Salary Support
Standard Rate (Singaporeans and PRs aged below 40) | 70% of staff's monthly salary, with a cap of S$5,000/month |
