Singapore Shipping Association’s Maritime AI Programme provides a structured, three-pronged approach of awareness, training, and adoption, to help companies kickstart their AI journey. The programme equips organisations with skills to identify use cases, pilot solutions, and deploy AI tools that enhance productivity. Companies can also receive support for job role redesign through the Workforce Singapore (WSG)’s Career Conversion Programme – Sea Transport (CCP), enabling employees to transition into AI-enhanced roles and strengthen future-ready workforce capabilities. By bridging the gap between AI literacy, and digital and talent readiness, the initiative helps companies build confidence in adopting AI responsibly.

Over 100 industry players, AI practitioners and policy makers convened to discuss how AI can be implemented meaningfully across maritime functions at the SSA’s Maritime AI Readiness Forum 2026. AI series (Anchoring AI, Governance of AI, and Applied AI)

  • The Programme’s AI Series equips participants with a complete pathway from AI foundations to responsible governance and advanced GenAI development. Across three courses, learners gain essential knowledge, risk management skills and hands on experience to build, deploy and manage GenAI and agentic AI solutions for real maritime applications.
  • The AI series is comprised of two 2-days and one full-day workshops: Anchoring AI (2-days), Governance of AI (1-day), and Applied AI (2-days)
